up, two very similar quarterbacks are going to be showing out in Neeland Stadium on Saturday

to conclude the regular season. You have Tennessee's Joey Aguilar and Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia. We'll get into that individual matchup coming up in a matter of moments. Melbaugh questions to end the show before that. In case you missed it, a 2027 football commitment happened Friday afternoon that we didn't get to discuss last week, so we'll discuss it here on today's show. But again, let's get back into that quarterback matchup, because I think in terms of what the SEC has to offer, this could be the best individual matchup of the season. I mean, let's be real here. Like, Joey Aguilar and Diego Pavia are about the score off. Aguilar squared off against Ty Simpson already this year. Simpson squared off against Pavia. Arch Manning squared off against Pavia, Marcel Reed, squared off against some of these other big time quarterbacks. Trinidad Chamblis is squared off against some of these guys. Gunner Stockton as well. But I think individually, I mean, you can make the case for a lot of these individual matchups, you know, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Tennessee Vanderbilt to have some of these higher profile quarterbacks in the league.

But Saturday's matchup is interesting for a number of reasons

because you can make that argument for this one with Tennessee's Joey Aguilar

and Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, but also two quarterbacks that kind of mirror one another.

And again, went the junior college route, spent a couple years in the

junior college circuit, you know, went to Pavia went to New Mexico State, you know, kind of got

his career going. And of course, he beat Auburn and then transferred to the SEC. You had Joey

Aguilar went to Applachson State and did a whole lot of good things. And then he transferred to UCLA.

And now he's at Tennessee.

He was UCLA for just a couple of months.

Yeah, Pavia, the, you know, challenged and tried to get another year of eligibility for

junior college players like himself to play another year.

And because of that ruling that was expedited and was granted injunction,

it was a waiver from Miles Kitzelman and Joey Aguilar and Star Thomas
