Hello, hello, it's good, it's a great gardening day.

It really is, and unfortunately, I have been inside most of the day, so after this, I'm

going to go outside and I'm about to get my garden on.

Here's a question I have for you.

Why did you name your company at least at the time, fluent garden?

That's a really great question.

A part of it is when I was starting the company, it was a consulting company, and I was

doing mostly one-on-one garden coaching, and a part of it was because I wanted to explain

to people, you can have fluency in the garden, you can be fluent in the language of gardening.

Nothing should be overly scary.

Let's break down the terms, let's break down your garden and help you become an expert

in your garden, and I think that was a part of it, but another reason, why fluent was

one of the top name contenders was, I think it was the name of, I could be getting this

wrong, but Microsoft's design system is called Fluent.

Oh, see a little nerdy-ness going on there.

Yeah, and then that kind of made sense.

I'm like, oh, systems and design, I'm like, okay, let's go with that.

It just kind of worked, and then I really liked the name, so that's the history of the

name fluent.
