I'm super excited to be interviewing her and also most importantly to learn from her.

So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Dr Janet Allenby. She is a highly experienced

dermatologist, board certified dermatologist, and she has been practicing for such a long time and has seen all sorts of patients done such amazing work in her practice. So without further ado, you know, welcome to show Dr. Alambi. I'm so excited to be hosting you.

Naka, thank you for having me. I'm excited to talk about the aesthetic world. Yeah, no, I'm excited to talk about the aesthetic world.

Yeah, no, I'm excited to talk to you because you have such a unique approach.

You know, I know that you kind of favor the non-surgical route,

you know, for some of your patients and you know the way you

approach just dermatology as a whole so I can't wait to learn about that but I'd

love for you to kind of walk us down memory lane and tell us about how you got

into medicine and what led to that and just the whole career journey.

If you go to walk us down memory. Oh, absolutely. And I can talk and talk and talk so you can always cut me off if I'm going a little

long here. Okay so in medical school I I wasn't a hundred percent sure I

loved every specialty which we we do tend to like everything when we're in

medical school but dermatology really stood out to me it's just a very

visual field you know there's just so many different diseases people can have so it was really intriguing as far as

dermatology. Now I've been in practice close to I'm a little under 30 years so there was not such a thing as cosmetic

dermatology back in my day it was more dermatology so I started in

dermatology and kind of grew up with cosmetic dermatology.

So like I was one of the first people to do CO2 laser back in 1995 down in Miami and it definitely

was a whole experience because that was just kind of the very
