Guys, we're recording on a very special Emmy nominations day.

This is my favorite kind of podcast to record

because we got kind of have the adrenaline of the awards nomination still going and

the Emmy nominations were announced just a few hours ago so we're also kind of

figuring it out and unlike the Oscars there's a zillion categories

so it's kind of impossible to have even figured out everything that's on there but

just initial takes from you guys like how do you feel like this is a good crop of

nominees? For the most part I mean you know, this is a good crop of nominees?

For the most part, I mean, you know, stuff that I love like American Vandal, which did get

you know a writing nomination but like didn't show up in the bigger categories, neither did one day at a time,

so they're disappointing things like that but

but there's also some great representation on here I was I was particularly

surprised to see so much Westworld yeah there's so much Westworld.

What, it got like 21 nominations, I think, or 20,

something like that.

Right behind Game of Thrones, it's kind of amazing.
