Exoplanet.

What have they discovered Bob?

This is a star, a red dwarf star, a very small star.

There's the most stars you find in the solace in the universe.

It's 40 light years away.

They have found an exoplanet that orbits it every 12 plus days. It's very close to the star, but it's a very dim star.

So therefore that, Earth and it's Earth-sized. It's a little bit smaller than the Earth.

It's kind of like between Venus and the earth.

It's considered to have a temperature about 107 degrees Fahrenheit, which means it's kind of like between

the Earth and Venus as well. If this planet has an atmosphere, it conceivably could be life

sustaining. It's probably tightly locked with one side facing the star, but once again it's a dim star. So there's

possibilities here that this could be one of the first

potentially habitable Earth-sized planets we have located John.

More data has to be gotten though.

Klica 12b we go right to what is Euclid Bob.

Now Euclid is a telescope that launched recently.

It is an optical infrared telescope that actually has a mirror that's only half the size of Hubble.

So this is a pretty good telescope in orbit.

It is now released its first images and science results.
