Being on the air so much, Mitt Garland got more than his fair share of call-ins,

calls from victims of the flood, from evacuees looking for family members.

Even the occasional foreigner helping for updates.

It was all pretty bizarre for an evening talk show.

And then on Thursday, a few days after the storm, things got even more bizarre.

Garland got a call from the mayor, Ray Nagan.
