Good afternoon, everyone. It's Dr. Niagara again with our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

Another fun week of talking, texting, emailing so many people across the globe. I look forward to

doing this every week. Never thought it would grow to the size that it has. So Julie and I are both very appreciative and humbled because our mission, at least my

mission initially was in doing this podcast, was to destigmatize mental health, legitimize

it, give it the appropriate credibility and seriousness that it deserves, but also instilling a sense of hope.

So someone had emailed me, or I didn't text to me the other day, and as you know, I do this program very organically.

I rarely have an idea of a topic

they text me if I could talk about because I'd mention this in one of the episodes

about logo therapy and the work of Victor Frankel so I went into the library at

our house and I pulled out the book that I actually read as part of my, one of my courses in my doctoral program.

And I pulled out some of the notes that I had taken when I was a student.

And I'm going to briefly go over kind of

his theory and model and kind of extrapolate into other aspects and some of the work by like

Wayne Dyer. So this is more of a kind of existential episode. So Victor Frankel wrote the book,

Man Search for Meeting back in 1946. And I was thinking myself, I said, you know, in today's sociocultural climate, could, but that book still be published

under the name Man Search for Meaning? You know, it'd be have to be everybody's search for meaning,

human search for meaning. But Victor Franco was have to be everybody's search for meaning human search for meaning

but Victor Franco was a neurologist and a psychiatrist and in the whole method method or ideology that

he espoused was to identify the purpose in life, finding meaning in life.

And Logos is, you know, his theoretical model was Logotherapy,

Logos is actually Greek for the word meaning.

And it's really an existential analysis.
