Thanks for having me. Appreciate it big time, especially, you know, a long week where we're just on the heels of the trade deadline. And wanted to give you the floor here, too. Recently, Troy Murray passed away. I don't know if you've had the opportunity to say anything on record about him. So I want to give you the floor to do that. You know, Greg and I have known him for years. we grew up. He was my hero as a kid and got to know him as a friend later and it was it's been a

tough week for years. We grew up, he was my hero as a kid and got to know him as a friend later. And it was, it's been a tough week for everybody. Yeah, no, it hits, you know, he's obviously been going through a battle for quite some time. But, you know, the way, the way he fought through and the way he, you know, would present to himself day to day, even though, like, you know, he never let you know how tough it was.

And I think, you know, one, he's a, he's a tough guy, but, you know, I think he also likes to make, he's a person that makes other people comfortable and wants to make them feel at ease and never wants to put that spotlight on himself.

And he was just such a selfless, selfless man, just a really, really, like, you know, you say good person. And that, like, that means a lot of things. But in every sense of the word, he was just a great, great man. And, you know, I think the thing for me is, is he always made, whether it was morning skate, whether it was on the road, whether, no matter where he saw him, you had fun with Troy.

Because he's such a, like, he was had, this is his light spirit about himself. He, he enjoyed life. He enjoyed the people that he was with. And I think a lot of times, you know, you meet a lot of people in the hockey industry and,

and, you know, through the game. And, and there are so many great people, but I don't think,

I don't believe I've met someone that was universally loved, respected and, and just, you know,

revered the way Troy was. And it's not because, you know, revered the way Troy was.

And it's not because, you know, he's left us recently.

That was, you know, you could have asked people 10 years ago.

You could have asked people five years ago.

And now everyone's talking about it, obviously, because of the sad, you know,

news and his passing.

But it's, he was just an awesome, awesome man and someone that you love being in the presence

of and someone that, you know, whether it was an organization, whether it was just a group of

people, you were in, that place was better because Troy was in the room or in the organization.

And, and, and it's, it's, it's, it's hard to have the type of impact that he's had.

But, man, was he just a great person and a great guy to, just to be around and hang out with.

I was thinking about this the other day.

Just being here, you know, his media were up in the upper level.

And whenever Troy would come in, all of us would turn around just to have the interaction
