Thank you for joining me for today's episode of God Law and Liberty

and I'm delighted that you're here and I think we're going to have a an interesting and certainly a sober review of the new Republican Party platform.

And I would submit to you that if you want to see the best of the pagan

wisdom in the world's eyes that's being offered in the sphere of politics in America

then you have to look no further than to the Republican Party's new platform.

Championed by Tennessee's U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, the platform chair who helped shut down any discussion and debate earlier in the week

about the changes before Mr. Trump was shot.

And I could say more on that and Senator Blackburn because I served with her in our state Senate

before she became a part of Congress.

But that wouldn't really be helpful in relation to the future and where do we go from here, but what I do want to do today is to help you

consider carefully what no one, at least to my knowledge, has looked at in the platform or commented on. And this is going to be particularly

important for Christians who live in states that require them to register as

Republican, Democrat,

or whatever else it might be, or independent.

And what seems to have been ignored

is the preamble to the platform,

sort of like ignoring the prologue in the Gospel of John

and just reading what follows after the prologue at the beginning in the first chapter.
