Everything you know about fantasy football just changed.

0:02.5

Because we just wrapped up week two of the NFL preseason, and if you're not familiar,

0:37.9

this is when teams typically do their dress rehearsal. They show you what their offenses will look like. And we just got a ton of important information that you need to know. Now, if you're not familiar, I'm Salvatri. I've been helping people win their fantasy leagues for nearly eight years, and I plan to do the same for you with this video. And let's kick things off with the second round rookie for the New England Patriots Trevion Henderson, who if we pull this up right here, this is courtesy of PFF, they do great data charting all year long, especially for the preseason. You could see Trevion Henderson, the starters were out there, Drake May started for this team. He ended up playing nine. This is snaps, nine out of a possible 15 snaps compared to Antonio Gibson, who played six.

0:37.1

This ends up coming out to Trevion Anderson played 60% of the snaps with the starting offense while they were in the game for this dress rehearsal. Now, that is pretty important because he ended up having four carries for 20 yards in a touchdown. For the second straight preseason game, he looked good. That first game he had the 100-yard kickoff return. but it is important to point out that Remandre Stevenson did not play in this game, right?

0:55.4

So here's what's going to happen right now. And here's a little bit of the concern for Trevionn Henderson. I love this guy's a sixth round pick and fantasy. Now he basically goes the past week or so in the fifth round after he had that hundred-yard kickoff return. And after this dude went out there and had four touches for 20 yards in a touchdown in the entire timeline over the weekend started popping off and saying, this guy's the greatest, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff, right?

1:11.5

Again, I'm... after this dude went out there and had four touches for 20 yards and a touchdown in the entire timeline over the weekend started popping off and saying this guy's the greatest blah blah blah all this stuff right again i like treviant henderson but people are starting to take him in the fourth round sometimes i've seen this guy go at the end of the third round of fantasy drafts and that's crazy because nothing has changed about this backfield over the past two weeks it just so happens that Trevion Henderson has scored two preseason touchdown. Jamondra Stevenson didn't even play last week, but he's in great shape.

2:00.8

Everything that we've got in reports-wise is that he's going to be in there for about half the backfield touches, if not more, in terms of carries. So Trevionn Henderson, as of this recording, is going in the fifth round of fantasy drafts, the 56th overall pick, but by the day right now, he's being drafted often in the fourth round. And when you start to take him next to guys or before guys like Tedro-McMillan across different positions, like George Kittle across different positions, heck, even at the exact same position, he's starting to go in drafts. And I'm going to scroll up here to this range right here, where he's going ahead of guys like Kenneth Walker, at or next to like Chuba Hubbard, proven roles in their backfield at this point. I like Trivion Henderson, but let's not get crazy. If he's in there in the fifth or six round in your draft, awesome. In the third or fourth, I'm a little hesitant. Now, this next guy we got to talk about because there's been a lot of talk, especially based on what we just saw in the preseason about Brock hours because here's what we saw in week two for the dress rehearsal for this team you can see if you

2:00.9

scroll down here that gino Smith played 15 snaps. So this means that the starting offense played 15 snaps for the Las Vegas Raiders. And if we scroll up to what those pass catchers did, Brock Bowers only played seven snaps and ran four routes. Michael Mayer, the other tight end, plays 10 snaps, runs four routes as well.

2:34.8

This broke down to Brock Bowers only playing 47% of the snaps. And here's the deal. This is preseason. We don't have to panic all that much, right? They're just showing us a little bit of what their offense could look like in two tight end sets. But I will say that Michael Mayer is a talented tight end who basically all offseason, new offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly has been saying that he wants to get more involved, and then we just saw that in the second preseason game,

2:33.6

the first game with the starter seeing usage, we saw Michael Mayer get way more involved than we were expecting. So again, I'm not going to panic. But the fact that Brock Bowers often goes in the middle of second rounds of drafts and we're getting at least a little bit of indication that Michael Mayer is going to be somewhat involved. That's concerning. Now, there is the narrative too that maybe they're just rehearsing or giving like a little bit of

3:10.0

a showcase to Michael Mayer if they're trying to trade him off this team, which would make sense. A former very productive player is a rookie second round pick, great college tight end. Only reason he's not getting more usage is because the greatest rookie tight end of all time in Brock Bowers was there last year. If we actually put this in perspective, the guy who set the rookie

3:07.1

receptions record across all positions last year in Brock Bowers, I'm sure he's going to play more than 47% of the snaps this year, but it's at least worth mentioning that this did happen. The reason it's worth mentioning, like I said, is because Bowers goes as the 18th overall pick in the middle right now of the second round of fantasy drafts for your 12 team formats. At this point, I've never really been drafting him. If you've watched our other content, I've said that he's like probably one of,

3:25.9

if not the worst pick in the second round of fantasy drafts. I'd rather have the Drake London's, Josh Jacobs, who go around him. Guys who go after him, definitely give me AJ Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Buck Irving. I'd rather have all these guys over Brock Bowers, but that's the update on him. There's also an update that we have to do in the Jets backfield because after the first

3:58.3

preseason week, we saw three running backs involved, just like the Jets coaches were saying all offseason, we're going to use a three-headed backfield. Or at least they were suggesting that based on saying they have three great running backs, giving all the guys the usage at OTAs and being a little bit concerning. So Brice Hall is the guy that this matters for because he's like a third, sometimes a fourth round pick and fantasy drafts.

3:57.9

What did we just see, according to PFF this past week?

4:00.4

The Jet Starters, starters, But Brees Hall is the guy that this matters for because he's like a third, sometimes a fourth-round pick and fantasy drafts.

4:11.5

What did we just see, according to PFF this past week? The Jet starters played a total of 18 snaps. Breece Hall plays 11 of them. Okay, that is better than week one of the preseason where he was splitting it three ways. He at least played over 60% of the snaps in this game, these limited first team snaps in the preseason. but here's what's not great.

4:13.2

Isaiah Davis didn't play in this game.

4:30.9

So maybe the reason why it wasn't a three-headed backfield is because... snaps in this game, these limited first team snaps in the preseason, but here's what's not great.

4:30.9

Isaiah Davis didn't play in this game, so maybe the reason why it wasn't a three-head of backfield is because they only had these two running backs available in Brees Hall and Brelin Allen. And to make things even more concerning is that Brees Hall had seven carries in this preseason game, while Braylin Allen had five carries. So they split the backfield. That's not ideal for Brise Hall because all offseason, they've basically been saying,

4:50.4

Braylon Allen's five carries, so they split the backfield. That's not ideal for Brise Hall because all offseason, they've basically been saying Braille and Allen's going to have a role on this team. All of the Jets beat reporters, and there's a lot of them because they're based out of New York. I've been saying that Braylin Allen is most definitely based on OTA's mini camp, now training camp, and the preseason. all of the buzz right now. The whole drumbeat is saying that Braylon Allen will be more involved than people are expecting.

4:48.7

And that is a big concern when you're seeing
