by our guest our newest colleague at the

athletic Sam Khan for our most of our listeners probably remember Sam from his time

at ESPN but you know what's funny, Stu, is years ago, and I don't think I was

at the athletic at this point. I remember it being at Big 12 media days and you know at one point I remember

Max who was not officially hired at the athletic but I remember I was going to meet some

fox people at some like hotel bar that was near

wherever they were having the big 12 media days and Max was kind of like

clandestine kind of meeting with somebody and I remember talking to

a bin who was there not at like at big 12 media days and you know it's weird

because like I don't think I, you know, I knew who Vennini was, but I'd never seen him in person.

So I could, I was like, I think I might have texted you, what does Chris Vennini actually look like or,

you know, one of those things? But but as it turned out and I've seen

Sam a bunch of times now at Big 12 related stuff and in his beloved state of Texas

Stewie ended up hiring half the people who were in that building that day.

Go figure.
