We're locked and loaded for a fun Friday podcast here at KKHI, and we're going to focus in on a huge weekend of sports.

Wow, is this maybe the biggest weekend of the year highlighted by the Chiefs playing at the

Bills? We'll hold that for a moment or two. It is the game of the year, highlighted by the Chiefs playing at the Bills.

And in just a few minutes, I'm going to prove that to you because one television network planted its flag and said,

this is the game of the year. And here's where we want it and how. We'll get to that in a couple of

moments. We will start with college football today because it is remarkable how many teams are

still alive to make the college football playoff with three weeks to go. I used to say, hey,

if we expand the playoff, we're going to get to a point where maybe there's 20 or 30 teams

that have a shot at the end of the year. There was a little red release put out by the Big 12 this week.

This is amazing.

There are 16 teams in the Big 12.

12 of them are still alive for the Big 12 title game, including Kansas.

Now, it's an insane long shot, and I don't want to try to lump all the

teams into the same category because there are those that are realistic and those that aren't.

Kansas would need every outcome of every particular game the rest of the way to go in their favor,

but it's still mathematically possible. They have not been eliminated from winning the

Big 12 and making the college football playoff. That is unbelievable with three games to go.

So what they've done with college football is tremendous.
