0:09.0	Carrie Green. I'm here to help you get your mind aligned with the truth of God's word. My wife and I just
0:15.4	returned from a trip and we had gone to a larger metro area than we normally live in and
0:20.5	I was just kind of in a fresh way, astounded by the different varieties of people who are around.
0:29.0	I mean people with black skin, people with brown skin, people with in between color skin, and different ethnicities,
0:35.5	different places we've all come from, and God created all of us.
0:41.3	You know, we live in a day when ethnicity can be an issue where there's a lot of division.
0:46.5	And that is absolutely not a biblical concept.
0:50.9	We're going to get into it in Romans chapter 1 versus 5 through 6 as we see that every ethnicity is called to trust in Jesus.

1:36.0	So we need the power of the Holy Spirit to help in that.
1:39.3	Lord God, we ask that you would be our teacher, that your Holy Spirit would open our hearts and open our minds to understand what you're saying to us today and to apply it rightly in the way we think about the world we live in and the people around us in that world. Lord we're asking you to do this in Jesus name. Amen.
2:01.6	Okay friends we are in Romans chapter 1, verse 5 and 6, and to set the stage, the apostle Paul has just introduced
2:09.8	himself to his readers, and he says he was called to be an apostle to spread the gospel message,
2:17.5	the message that Jesus came to the earth, son of God, he died for the sins of mankind and he did not stay dead but he rose from the grave
2:26.9	through the power of the Holy Spirit. And we're picking up here in the end of verse number five where he says through whom
