The government shutdown goes into effect. The Trump DOJ sues, L.A. County's Sheriff's Department,

and Hillary Clinton is hit with backlash over comments about white men. I'm Georgia Howe with

The government shutdown has officially arrived, and there's lots of questions about what it will actually impact.

One is national parks. The Interior Department says they will remain partially open with open air sites available to the public.

However, all the buildings that require staff will be closed. The restrooms and other basic facilities will be functional.

Another major question will be how air travel is affected.

Most airport employees, among them air traffic controllers,

are considered essential and thus required to show up for work.

But they'll have to go without pay for now,

so many expect staffing issues and thus potential flight delays or cancellations.

Oklahoma is blowing the whistle on New York's DMV after catching a truck driver with a commercial

license that literally read, no name given.

The license was real and New York admits it.

It was issued to a migrant with, quote, federally verified documents.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt blasted sanctuary states for letting 80,000-pound

rigs hit the road without proper verification. Representative Elise Daphonic piled on, accusing

Governor Hokel of putting illegals before law-abiding New Yorkers. The bizarre license is now Exhibit

A in the fight over Hokel's Green Light Law. Zoran Mamdani says he's ready to sue President Trump if he follows through on withholding

federal cash from New York City.
