On December 4th at around 6.45 a.m., United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson walked along West 54th Street,

headed for an investors conference at the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

As he walked alone, a gunman emerged from the shadows and shot Thompson in the back.

Thompson again, then fled. Thompson was taken to a hospital where he died of his wounds.
