Juan Soto. It is what it is. What I find 10 times more interesting as an IBO is the answer to this question.

Who is the New York Yankees lead-off hitter. And Aaron Boone was asked that yesterday at his first

press conference of the year. Here's how he tried to tackle the question. Who's your leadoff guy?

I don't know. We'll see. I really don't. I mean, you could throw out six or seven names and I go,

I can see that.

So that's where I'm at right now on it.

It could end up being a shared thing where, you know, verse left, verse right situation.

Hopefully, it kind of smacks us over the head and become very clear at some point, but I really don't have someone

in mind necessarily as, yeah, that's who it's going to be. His initial response is just so brilliant.

It's, I don't know. I have no, I mean, basically, I have no idea. And I started thinking, he's kind of right.

Like, there is no answer to a very, what you think is a simple question, who is the Yankees lead officer?

And just to remind you, like, okay, well, what did they do last year?

They basically had two guys leading off a vast majority of the season.

And those two guys were Anthony Volpe, who

unfortunately just failed out of it. Like, he just didn't perform well enough after his good

start. And the other guy who ended up doing it a lot was Claibor Torres, who's no longer

on the team. The guy who did it the third most is Alex Verdugo, who's also not on the team.

So if you just look at last year, the only guy that's on the team who did it a lot was Anthony

Volpe, and I guess we'll start there, you can't lead off Anthony Volpe.
