0:50.6	Sarakhov and Sarah Wagner from the Atlantic Academy, Rhineland Falls, in Germany.
0:55.4	The Atlantic Academy is a non-profit institution that was founded by the Rhineland Falls State
0:59.7	Government in 1996 and is supported by a nonpartisan association. This association is funded
1:05.6	by the state and is concerned with maintaining transatlantic relations and providing comprehensive
1:10.0	information on U.S. politics and society.
1:12.6	The Academy is located in Kaiserslautern, adjacent to Ramstein Air Force Base.
1:17.6	Dr. David Sarakoff is the director of the Academy.
1:20.6	He studied political science and public law at the University of Trier.
1:24.6	His research focuses on the polarization in U.S. Congress and American
1:27.8	Society, U.S. Russian relations, and theories of international relations. Dr. Seraakov is a member
1:34.0	of the advisory boards of the Rhineland-Fault State Center for Political Education, as well as
1:38.3	of the Obama Institute for Transnational American Studies. Sarah Wagner is the education
1:43.9	manager of the academy. She studied political science,
1:47.0	English and education science at the University of Trier. Her research focused lies on
1:52.0	civil-military relations, transatlantic relations, another episode of our EU Today podcast.
