I welcome back to the personality hacker podcast. My name is Joel Mark Whitt and I'm

Antonio Dodge. So today on the show, we want to talk about ESTPs and careers that you're

probably an ESTP watching or you have an ESTP in your life potentially. And so this idea

of career will probably be very interesting to you. And this really came about through

our personality life path mentorship program that we've been this whole series came out

of that because we're recording for each personality type around careers in that life path

mentorship. We're talking about the eight areas or realities of life that correspond

to all eight of the Jungian cognitive functions. And we've been noticing so each week, we take

one of those functions and we go around the we talk about the archetypal energy in life

and then how it relates to the person and the people in their life. And our relationship

to that function and how it impacts us in all of this. So that's what the program is.

But many people that have joined this program going through this process with us are in

the middle of a transition in their life. They're usually transitioning a relationship.

There's a new life transition they're making. Maybe they're starting out on something

or they're changing something that has been for a while. And one of the key things that

many people are talking about bringing to the table is this concept of careers. And they

say a lot of people are saying either they're starting off on a new career from university

or into the world, young, but most of our students and pathfinders in that program are

actually doing a re-evaluation of their current career that they're in. And many are saying,

I don't know if I want to keep doing what I've been doing. I'd like to make a change.

I'm not sure what that change should look like. What are the principles I should be thinking

about? So from those conversations, we realized, oh, there's an opportunity to start talking
