I'm alone again.

My name's Beth.

I'm an alcoholic. Because the's Beth. I'm an alcoholic.

Because the grace of God and fellowship in steps of A.A.

And sponsorship, I've been sober since June 26, 1988.

And that's a miracle because 10 days was a long time for somebody like me. And 10 days was a really long time for you if you were anywhere near me when I was doing 10 days.

It was a little edgy and usually by the end of a week somebody would be saying, why don't you just have a beer, Beth?

It's not really drinking.

It's just beer.

I want to thank the committee for inviting me to speak.

It's always an honor and a privilege to be asked to participate in Alcoholics Anonymous,

and the committee's done a great job this weekend.

It's been a really nice weekend.

And I always want to thank the tapers.
