when her eponymous film garnered Oscar gold and why to claim

for telling the story of how she stood up for the residents of Hinkley, California

against the powerful corporation Pacific Gas and Electric,

which had poisoned their drinking water with deadly chromium-6,

also known as hexavalent chromium.

Since then, her name has even become a verb

as in we need to Aaron Brockovich this problem.

And according to her, hundreds of Aaron Brockovich's

have emerged to fight for water safety in communities all around the globe.
