night in which Democrats rolled up Republicans everywhere

in almost every race statewide and local from coast to coast.

That came just weeks after 7 million people took to the streets in 2,500 communities for the

no-kings protests against Donald Trump.

government shutdown in U.S. history, one the Trump administration has tried to use to gut the
