The Trump administration is still facing intense backlash over the so-called Epstein files.

Remember, we told you last week Trump's Justice Department came to the conclusion there was no

evidence convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, blackmailed powerful people,

or kept a so-called client list. The DOJ also reiterated that Epstein died by suicide in his prison

cell in 2019. And with that, that matter is closed. Well, ever since, many of the president's

strongest supporters are upset. Some say Trump misled them, making them think sending

him back to the White House would uncover evidence of a deep state controlling the government

and protecting criminals and pedophiles like Epstein, when really that evidence never existed.

Others believe the evidence is there, but there's now even more cover-up happening. The president

held a quick briefing on the issue yesterday, basically telling

his base to move on. He defended his attorney general, Pam Bondi, saying she would only reveal

evidence that was credible and that now she's focused on more important things. But that won't be

the last word on the issue, since Congress is now getting involved. Twice already this week,

Democrats have proposed measures to force the DOJ to publish all documents related to Epstein online within 30 days.
