Well, it's been great hearing the story of the emperors.

There's a lot about ancient Rome that we're not getting to hear.

So we put a call out to you, our lovely audience, for topics that you'd like to hear about.

Something that got mentioned really quickly is, what about the Empresses?

So today we bring you the story of Agrippina the Younger.

And thanks to the person who suggested this, Robin Chippman from the United States.

Here's Rianna Evans.

Agrippina's born into the Giulio-Claudean family and she is associated with some names that we've already seen.

So her father is Germanicus, who you'll remember is the golden boy of Rome. He's Claudius's brother, grandson of

Livia, very well connected and this also means because remember all of this family is

connected that her brother is Caligula. So she is the daughter of somebody who's

highly regarded not only of Germanicus but her mother is Agrippina the elder who's seen as sort of the perfect wife.

So she comes from this perfect parental background and she is as he's going to be the

sister of a future emperor who is regarded as crazy.

So she's kind of got both sides of the coin there.
