This year I heard a really difficult news from a friend

and it really kind of knocked me, kind of knocked me

off my chair a bit because I had never met somebody who had been so, so ill in that way. And so

I had a friend who has a beautiful girl, beautiful, beautiful girl. And she had recently found out that she was really,

really ill at a really young age. And I just didn't know what to say to her. And I just didn't know

how to comfort her because how do you comfort someone you find out that their, you know, your friend's

kid is really sick. And I just, i just didn't know what to do and thankfully

this podcast you know has kind of been a an agent of help for me these days or these months and

as much as is helping me i hope it's helping others and so i dedicate this episode to that friend

i hope this story gives you a little more

So today's story or today's guest is Mariam. I call her money of scarborough and for many reasons she lives in

toronto canada she grew up in toronto canada and particularly lives in scarborough um muddiam is the

middle child of five i never knew money personally but we were always social media friends

one time i actually stumbled upon her blog post that really touched me.

I always kept it in back of my mind.

I was like, oh, this is an incredible person.
