Hey Masters and Padawans. It's Brian here. I just wanted to leave you a little note for why I'm probably not going to be on the show for the next couple weeks. And I want to thank Holly for taking over the show and making it better than it has any right to be just because she's great.

And in my absence, she's going to be talking to all kinds of really cool people and just filling in for me.

Well, I mean, the big reason is having a surgery on my throat.

It's nothing minor totally routine to help with my sleep apnea.

And I won't have a voice for a couple weeks.

But I wasn't planning on missing this week's show because, as you can tell, I still have a voice.

But on Sunday, I was cooking and was cutting up vegetables and decided

there wasn't enough meat in them and sliced most of the tip of my thumb and ended up

in the ER and they had to glue it all back together and you know it it hurts and the pain meds i'm on doesn't

necessarily leave me with the uh um it doesn't necessarily leave me with the mental faculties i'd

like to do a full hour long show um in the the the with the the the focus and the clarity that i'd like. So I'm just going to step away to

recuperate for the next couple of shows and hopefully I'll be back sooner than later. But in the

meantime, I just wanted to let everybody know that I really appreciate you. I really appreciate

Holly, the redoubtable, the fantabulous Holly Fry, and our super

producer, Mike, who is, you know, just a great friend in general. And I hope everybody

enjoys the next couple weeks. Check out the High Republic books. I've read all the launch titles for High Republic,

and they're fantastic. It's going to be a really great new era of Star Wars.

And while I'm recuperating, I'm going to watch a lot of Star Wars. So I'll probably have

plenty of things to say when I get back and when I get my voice back.
