Hey, been a fan of the show. I've been watching it for about a year and it

seems like you've had a lot of people in my general sphere on so I'm glad to be here to talk to you about a variety of things. I think a lot of it will be cultural decline and coming to the realization about a lot of realities in this world that we can't necessarily

psychologically grapple with.

Well, why don't you give a little bit of your background because I know you came out of

progressives and that's not the normal path into this sphere.

Yeah, I mean, leaving aside sort of high school, which I went from like socialist to objectivist to socialist to

college I was kind of someone who's trying to do a progressive libertarian fusion, which is basically, you know, I mean, it's like, you know, I voted Democrat all the time and I toyed with ideas like a narco communism and narco capitalism but I was really leaning

hard on this celebrity thing combined with some form of progressive ideas about how the government could emanc pay people's decisions from natural

constraints and all this bullshit. And I think, I mean it's kind of a long story, but I but I grew up in California where most people were progressive and

A lot of it's been sort of the negotiation of that desire to kind of fit in with people with the understanding of reality as I observed it and

morality as I kind of instinctively felt it to be.

And this led me, think back towards first religion I spent a year

or two being a progressive Christian or trying to then kind of tepidly in what you'd call like the Ben Shapiro orbit.

A lot of us have been there back when Ben Shapiro was still in Seattle.

And finally I kind of discard that and found my way to, I think what people would call me

NRX aligned or neo-reactionary. I don't like doing labels that much, but a deep skepticism towards liberalism and a lot of
