Return guest Ian Boswell is once again on the show today.

Now, given our jobs, given our types of work, given our geographic location here in Vermont,

Ian and I, we cross paths fairly often.

But the last time we crossed paths and recorded a conversation for King of the Ride was July of 2019.

Lots has happened, of course, in those few short years.

Ian retired from his time in the world tour later that season.

Sure, obviously a pandemic has occurred.

Laura and I had just recently attended

his wedding. He has since one unbound. He's become a dad. He and his wife got a dog for Pete's

sake. A lot has happened, and I encourage you to do what I did just recently. We just go back

into the archives and check out episode number 37. That presents

something of an interesting timestamp and what was going on in Ian's life then, just as this

conversation with the contemporary Ian Boswell of today presents a timestamp of what's going on

right now. Ian has also started a podcast, Breakfast with Boss, and I've been a guest on his show twice before today.

So this is something of a cross-mogenation of sorts, because anytime Ian and I get together, we both are thinking,

hmm, this conversation would make for some really good podcast fodder.
