BAST Talk Live where we are going to talk about Bass Fishing.

I got a good guest on today, now the last like week, two weeks I've been talking about like average age and kids who were born in like the late 90s and 2000s

who are just kicking everyone's butt we're gonna have Ken Duke on in November

and I would be interested to see I remember when he was

first doing all these stats and stuff probably 10 years ago when he first started

jumping on BTO with Mark Jeffers.

He was talking the average, I believe the average age

of an Elite Series Pro was 41 years old.

And the thought process behind that is you're established.

Either you have a second stream of income with a small business or you have enough experience

to actually make it through the opens to the lead series. Anyway, 41 was the magical age. And you know, we'd point out

exceptions to that rule at the time, you know, Justin Lucas, Jacob Wheeler, a Brandon Pollack, who at the time you know Justin Lucas Jacob Wheeler a Brandon Pollack who at the time were in the early 20s but as a whole

it was 40 years old and then you look at the

Bass master open EQs the nine anglers who just qualified for the 2024 Bass Master Elite series and the average age was 24 and a half to 25 years old and the top five guys were average age was 23.

Something I've been talking a lot about with established anglers who have been around a long time.
