And we're going to start with Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction. Well, we did Tornado of Souls last week. A lot of people really liked it. Even though it did not make me, I'm not a mega Dave convert quite yet. But we decided to do

Countdown to Extinction because that's the one that, and I will say Ethan sent me the record this

weekend while I was traveling. And I did listen to it one time and it does sound pretty good.

It's a really well recorded record. I mean, I still like the production of Rust in Peace,

but like we said last week, I think it's because I've heard it for so long.

I'm kind of used to it, you know, but...

When did you first hear Megadeth?

I probably heard Megadeth for the first time in, I'd say, 7th grade.

I'd already, like, knew who Metallica was, gotten into them a little bit.

I hadn't really dove back in their catalog.

And then when I got in junior high, I was like, I started like making friends with all the metal dudes.

And then I would just see like what shirts like wearing.

How does one bid for friendship with the metal dudes?

I was already growing my hair out.

I'm too young, but I just would, uh, I already had a couple of metal shirts that I had to hide from my parents, you know, you know, um, as most kids do in junior high, but I would just, you know, I would throw one in my backpack or keep in my locker.
