Summary

There are few things more annoying to than people who seem to peddle inspiration. You find them on Facebook encouraging you to follow your dreams, chase the rainbow, and change your life. The reason, I've found, why these people are so damned bent on inspiration is because they have discovered this wonderful thing called "energy" that I lacked because I'm a damned couch potato. Well, for the last two weeks, I've greased the groove to break myself of this addiction to crappy foods and sitting, replacing inaction with Prayer, Study, and Exercise. And, honestly, it's freaking sweet.

BUT WHO DO YOU KNOW WHO LIVES LIKE THAT? DO YOU?"

You might not have thought of strength as something to be practiced, but you ought to. According to Pavel Tsatsouline, former Soviet Special Forces instructor and the father of the kettlebell in the West, “Strength is a skill.” And like any skill, it’s one you’ve got to consistently work at. One of the ways to build the skill of strength is by what Pavel calls “greasing the groove.” What exactly greasing the groove means, and how you can use this exercise method to build strength is what we’ll explain today.

I'm recording from this because I thought it would be really cool that as I was walking home from the auto repair place, about three miles from my house, I dropped my dead car off there.

I figured, hey, this would be cool. I'll record the audio. But, you know, the little iPhone built in, the built-in microphone

road, a very busy road, no sidewalks. It's good times. Super gross. I'm doing this because yesterday,

as I was driving home from my favorite bar, Deacon Baldies, all the power went out in my car.

0:48.4

My stereo shut down. Everything just ended. So I ended up coasting into the parking lot, into a parking space. Super

lucky I didn't have to call a tow truck. So super bummed. I called the buddy, good old Joey

from Deacon Baldies, and he came and picked me up and took me home around 1045 last night.

My wife and kids had a play date about an hour from our house, so I said,

1:12.4

don't worry about me. I'll work from home in the morning. You go and have fun, take me to the

place so I can drop off the key, and then I'll walk home. And Shannon's like, well, what do you mean

walk home? And then she's like, well, I guess it'd be good for you. So I want to hit some of the main points that I talked about.

Luke is doing a huge event.
