There I was, three or four or five or six nights ago. I can't really remember.

There's a place called Lucali in Brooklyn. It has maybe the best pizza in the city.

I knew this was going to be about pizza.

It was going to be about either pizza or video games or Twitter. I only have a limited range of

subjects I'm stories about. It's a soup Nazi situation to get in there because it's so popular.

You have to get in line at 3.30. This was from my uncle's birthday. He's a foodie. He'd never been

there. I'm the hero. I get in line at 3.30. I wait an hour. Then the doors open. Then they take

your name and then you come back hours later. Long story short, I have to kill an hour and a half.

I walk up to this dive bar on Atlantic Avenue. It's 5 p.m. It's just me, two random dudes, the bartender

and her daughter, who's college age. I'm just doing work. Work in a newsletter. I'm overhearing

everything they're saying because it's very entertaining. Anyway, in New York, everyone has a 9-11

story. 9-11 comes up because one of the dudes asks the girl, were you born after 9-11? She says yes.

And the bartender says she was at the OBGYN on 9-11. The last appointment before they

sent everyone home, she found out she was having twins. That was what happened. I had to bite my

tongue because there's such an obvious great joke here that she didn't do. She should just have a

far away look in her eye and be like, the day I found out I was having twins, that was my 9-11.

I would do that every day if I was this bartender and I was mad she didn't do it.

That's what you're a worse person than she is. I'm a much worse person. That is a pretty big.

I don't know. It's a good 9-11 story as far as 9-11 stories go. How is the pizza?
