Good morning and welcome to our second service on Sunday mornings. We have two services, the first

of which is our Bible prophecy update. And second service is our verse by verse study through

the Word of God. Our text today is going to be Philemon, verses 15 through 25. We'd encourage

you to join with us there. And while you're doing that,

I have a praise report. I want to share with you today. Pictured here is a beautiful

picture of our church building and conspicuously absent from the roof, our cell antennas.

So they are now removed. This is a huge answer to prayer. I just want to say thank

you to all of you that prayed. And now we can get started on the repair of our roof. So praise

the Lord. This is huge, by the way. So thank you.

All right. Let's get into the word, Philemon, verses 15 through 25. Lord willing,

we're going to actually finish this short epistle today. I'll ask you if you're able to stand.

You can follow along as I read if not where you're seated

is fine. The Apostle Paul is writing to Philemon and says by the Holy Spirit, verse 15, perhaps

the reason he, speaking of Onesimus, was separated from you for a little while, was that you might

have him back forever. No longer, verse 16, as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother.

He is very dear to me, but even dearer to you,

both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord. So, verse 17, if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.

If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.

I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back, not to mention

that you owe me your very self. That's not what you think. We'll talk about this. I do wish, verse 20, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord.

Refresh my heart in Christ. Confident of your obedience, I write to you knowing that you will do even more than I ask

and verse 22 one last thing that's where I got it. And one thing more.
