Well friends, you knew it was bound to happen. Richard Ror and I are in the same room.

So good to be with you again. Thank you. Every time we get together. Sometimes I feel

like we're either talking about the things that we care about most or we're laughing.

Well, that's because you make me laugh. And I need that. I'm too serious. I am.

Were you serious growing up? Yeah, I was. Like need to be right. Need to be.

Yeah, it's the whole one stuff. You're a little adult. And I don't know if this was to please

my German parents. But I was super responsible, beautiful. They could, you know, leave me with

the neighborhood kids and I'd shepherd them all to the school. And I look back on it now.

It's laughable how responsible I was. And so what else could I do but go off to a seminary?

You know, those righteous voices felt now they had a forum to be a priest, you know. And again,

I've had a wonderful life. I'm in no position to complain. But it is a humbling recognition

to see that you probably did your greatest things for the wrong reason, you know, for the

wrong motivation. That's how God uses us. Yes, it is.

It is. So all my Robcast friends, I assume you all know and love Richard Dore. But if you

aren't, Richard Dore has shaped my work as much as anybody. For many of us, he has put

language to what we felt deepest in our bones. I know for Christen and I, he's the

original village elder for us. You're so happy. And I don't even know. He has all sorts

of books. Everything belongs was the first one I read. What was it? Then the naked now.

And you have the immortal diamond and folks, after you hear him, you're going to want to

go get his books and you're going to start wondering which one is the one I should start

with. And I'm telling you, just start somewhere. I'm humbled by your trust. Thanks. So when
