Dr. Joan Ifland, a true master in the realm of nutrition and addictive nutrition, joins us on the podcast today. Dr. Ifland has been putting her vast experience and knowledge to use in a big and effective way over the years, helping people to recognize and recover from their food addiction. Dr. Ifland is also the author of many helpful books on the topic of food addiction and recovery. In this episode, we discuss the destructive and progressive nature of addiction in general, how it is that addiction works on a neurological level, and why it is that food addiction is particularly dangerous. “I am standing on my two feet which are firmly planted in evidence; processed food addiction is the worst addiction,” says Dr. Ifland. Listen in to find out why.
