I am still on vocal rest, but as you probably can hear I'm doing a lot better and I'm

taking today as the last day I'm gonna take I'll be back in full swing tomorrow

today is going to be hosted by Professor Matt Sinkowitz and Max Inhofe.

They'll be joining you momentarily.

But I'm only interrupting their broadcast because I just, I could not let the day go by without discussing the fact that

22 million Americans have lost their jobs in the last four weeks.

22 million Americans who no longer have stable income, 22 million Americans who are only

going to get unemployment benefits for a short period of time, depending on their state's variation on unemployment insurance.

22 million Americans, even if they had health insurance, no longer have employer-based health insurance at the

beginning of a pandemic. 22 million Americans who are facing the roughest time in our country's history without any security

any security whatsoever

I bring this to our attention this morning because this is only going to get worse and yet and still our leaders are playing politics as usual.

There is no urgency, no urgency whatsoever. There's no concern from either party

for these 22 million Americans. And the fact that this is going to only get worse. We're going

to see levels of unemployment that rival the Great Depression or supersede exceed the Great Depression.

And our politicians are not concerned.
