| 0:12.1 | focus on reducing or managing anxiety. I'd like you to find a dedicated |
| 0:21.8 | safe space in which you can sit or lie down comfortably and in the moment |
| 0:29.9 | we will begin. I'd like you to put on comfortable clothing in which you can move freely and |
| 0:41.7 | I'd like the lights down and all distractions placed away. |
| 0:50.0 | Saying that if you've got young children, what will be will be so accept the environment as is? |
| 1:02.0 | So when you're ready, sit down or lie down comfortably and we will begin. |
| 1:12.0 | I will alter my tone of voice throughout this meditation from a soft |
| 1:17.2 | tone to a whisper and back again. I alter the tone of my voice in order to lull you into a calm state. I want you to start by just noticing your physical self. |
| 1:40.0 | As you notice your physical self, I want you to act as the witness. |
| 1:50.0 | What I mean by this is that you are the watcher and you are watching your physical |
| 1:57.7 | self with as little attachment as possible. This may mean that you see that your brow is |
| 2:06.5 | furrowed. This may mean that you see that your shoulders are hunched. This may mean that you see that your abdominal |
| 2:18.4 | region or your tummy region is tight. So you are merely watching your physical self as the witness and noticing, |
| 2:30.0 | noticing any areas of anxiety. |
| 2:39.0 | When you notice the areas of anxiety, |
| 2:42.0 | I want you to observe these areas without judgment, |
| 2:52.4 | without emotion. |
| 2:54.0 | Just simply notice |
| 2:58.0 | that there are feelings of anxiety in that body part. It is not for us to judge how we feel at any one time. It is for us to make a decision about how we choose to feel. |
| 3:22.0 | It is for us to make a decision about how we choose to feel. |
| 3:31.0 | So firstly we notice as the witness our physical self. |
