Today we are joined by Amy Eiges—a certified health coach at Dr. Tro’s office and a coordinator for the Nutrition Coalition. Amy was a chronic dieter before she found low-carb/keto, having previously had many, many frustrating experiences with food-restrictive diets. We discuss the place of—and the usefulness of—sugar-free sweeteners in the process of recovering from sugar addiction. Additionally, we discuss the various valid insights to be found in other diet programs and philosophies, and we share tips for fasting while on a low-carb diet.
