Oh, blessings and peace. Good morning. I got caught up to a live stream service here. It's a second

service here at Calvi Chapel, Kanai'oi, and it's dedicated to our line-by-line teaching through

the Bible, or like today, the expounding on a passage of God's

word. And our passage for this morning's teaching will be from the book of 1st Timothy

in chapter 4 verses 1 and 2. And I would ask all who are able, please stand for the reading

of the scriptures this morning. Again, 1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 1 and 2, just 2 verses,

and I'm sure you'll see why in a moment. And the Word of God reads,

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits in doctrines of demons,

speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscious seared with a hot iron.

Why don't we go ahead and pray and ask the Lord's blessing on the teaching this morning. Father in heaven, once again, Lord, thank you so much for being with us

in enabling us to assemble under your name to receive your word of truth and all we can ask this day

the time that you've given us that we freely give back is that you would speak loudly in the lives

of your people so that we may take this word and not only hear it but heed it and act upon it and be witnesses

for you until you return for us. We love you and thank you for that which you are about to do

in the mighty name of Yeshua, Jesus, the Christ we pray. Amen. All right. Thank you. Please be seated. So the title for this teaching is simply deceiving

doctrines. And the passage that we just read has been read often, and it has produced a number of different topics.

Over and over again, many have conducted sermons on these passages. And there's a good reason for this. Because as time goes on,

more and more deceiving doctrines are being promoted and accepted. And I'm not talking

about deceiving doctrines that are accepted by the world.

I'm talking about deceiving doctrines that are being accepted by the church.

And some of them seem so innocent at first glance.

But when you begin to peel back the onion skin, the damaging and or demonic foundations begin to be recognized and exposed and for today I'm just going to tell
