major changes in the briefing room. First and foremost, we saw the Associated Press get booted from the

White House Correspondents Association's press pool. That was, of course, because they refused to

call the Gulf of America as the Gulf of America, and said referring to it as the Gulf of Mexico,

the name it's had for hundreds of years before President Trump signed that executive order.

But a few weeks after that, Caroline Levitt, the new press secretary, announced that the White House itself will be taking over management of that pool.
