Recently, at a Renegade University weekend event in Washington, D.C., we were joined by Camille Foster, the co-host of my favorite political podcast, The Fifth Column, and a partner at Freethink Media.

In several public forums, Camille has been presenting a quite provocative and definitely radical set of arguments

about race and criminal justice and their intersection in this country. What we like to do at

Renegade University is take big and new and different ideas like that and put them to the test.

And so that's what we did with Camille.

We had him present the argument to us, and then we broke out into discussion sections,

and the students or the members of Renegade University asked Camille questions, and they prepared
