Every one of us has a calling and our calling has its limits.

For example, God called Moses to reach the nation of Israel, but he called Aaron to help Moses.

God called Jesus to bring salvation and deliverance to the children of Israel

but he called the church to reach the world

and so I think that we must appreciate the limits of our calling

and know the limits of our calling, as well as stay within those boundaries that our calling

I want to address an issue that I think causes insecurity in some people's lives, and that

issue is the issue of being in someone's

shadow. For example, you know, Aaron, when he was called, he was called to be helping Moses. Therefore,

he wasn't really in the spotlight. He was in the shadow.

He was in the shadow like I am right now if you're watching this video.

Moses was the one in the spotlight.

But see, God did not call Aaron to be in the spotlight.

He called him to be in the shadow.

God anointed Aaron to be in the spotlight. He called him to be in the shadow. God anointed Aaron to be in the shadow.

God gifted Aaron to be in the shadow. And one time when Moses went up to the mountain, Aaron stepped into the spotlight. And you would think, you know, that that would mean that Aaron would lead the children of Israel into great victory.

But that's not what happened.

Aaron led the children of Israel into idolatry.

In fact, he caved into the pressure of the spotlight that he collected offerings from them and gave them a golden calf.

restrain them. And after that, of course, Aaron stepped into his spot of being a priest, and you don't see Aaron again going into the spotlight of Moses.
