My younger sister and I have always been interested in the paranormal.

So for my 27th birthday, my sister surprised me with a weekend trip to a small tourist town

about two hours away from our house for a haunted ghost tour of the town's oldest buildings.

It was the beginning of October, so the timing was just right.

For a little backstory, this town is known for its well-preserved 19th century buildings,

The ghost tour started at a small shop at the end of town, and my sister and I were

The owner of the shop, we all call him Mark, was our tour guide for the evening.
