1:01.4	So for my 27th birthday, my sister surprised me with a weekend trip to a small tourist town
1:09.2	about two hours away from our house for a haunted ghost tour of the town's oldest buildings.
1:16.6	It was the beginning of October, so the timing was just right.
1:21.8	For a little backstory, this town is known for its well-preserved 19th century buildings,
1:28.7	and Ulysses S. Grant lived there for a time after the Civil War.
1:33.5	It was also a mining town for Native Americans and settlers.
1:37.8	Today, it is a popular tourist destination for shopping, golfing, drinking, and its haunted

1:47.6	The ghost tour started at a small shop at the end of town, and my sister and I were
1:53.1	quickly gathered in a fairly large group of other paranormal enthusiasts.
1:59.1	The owner of the shop, we all call him Mark, was our tour guide for the evening.
2:05.6	He was a native of the town and knew the ins and outs of every building.
2:11.8	We were excited to hear scary stories about these old buildings from someone who knew

2:19.8	We were visiting three of the most haunted buildings throughout the night.
2:24.7	Our first stop, being a building that was converted into a wine bar.
2:29.9	Mark encouraged us to take lots of pictures in case we caught any orbs or apparitions.
