So boys, quick question. I have been struggling recently. I have a very addictive personality when it comes to camera stuff and I always, like immediately after buying a new camera, I'm like I'm back on the internet looking for like the next newest camera.

Like I got the Canon R5C several months ago,

and I justified it because it's a really nice photo camera

and shoots 8k raw video.

It's fairly pricey.

It was like, oh, you know, I've got a new daughter.

It'll be great for a future proof video and you know family photos and I can use it for work too and

now immediately I'm like okay what's even better than this I need something new do you

boys have anything like that am I am I just an awful consumerist pig or am I not alone in this?

I mean for someone whose entire career is talking shit about capitalism and talking about

myself here I absolutely suffer from the same disease,

but not when it comes to everything, for example, phones and shit,

I don't give a fuck if I have something that's 10 years old,

my computer as long as it runs and fine and so on but like with stuff that's

relatively defined that it's even more cringing like as a status symbol or

something even though I understand the absolute irrationality

and quite literally falsely created idea

that you're owning the newest version of that

means that you are doing well in life but if you

know gets outdated it's fucking with you for example when it comes to cars even though

I drive like an old beater or whatever I think the second I actually purchase my my first

you know like new car or whatever with a bank loan or or if patrons good with cash
