whether he could really carry the case for the prosecution because of potential credibility problems given his prior convictions.

Wow, well, that's a big question.

I mean, and certainly just to lay out the credibility problems here for a minute, you know, convicted of lying to, under oath to Congress, convicted of fraud, somebody who has made numerous statements that are admittedly false.
