So Jim Garrity, Sterling police work by the NYPD and others.

They follow the trail of breadcrumbs to McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, where a sharp-eyed

eyewitness noticed that there is someone sitting there eating who was,

looked like the guy in the photos of the assassin of the United Healthcare killer,

and he is arrested because he shows a fake ID, same fake ID he used on his way to the assassination.

When they ask him, have you been in New York recently? He began to shake. He is now in custody

and charged with murder. What do you make of it?

Wrote about this in today's morning jolt and a bunch of curious factors in this.

Most notably, and I'll talk a bit more in a second, the degree to which a whole bunch of people,

almost entirely on the political left and really the extremes of the political left,

wanted to turn him into a folk hero, wanted to turn him into, I think it was Cat Rosenfield, who said, wanted to turn him into John Wick meets Aaron Brockovich, the idea that he was some sort of crusader against health insurance companies and that somehow Brian Thompson, you know, husband, father, hardworking man, deserved what he, you know, the getting shot in the back.
