We're recording this on the first day of jury selection

in the first criminal trial of a former president of the United States.

I have to say it's not how I imagined this to be in the sense that this is not the case. I think that I would have chosen to go first.

I know there's a lot of people spilling ink talking about that.

It's also a case in which it feels, you know, it feels like it kind of snuck up on us a little bit, right?

Maybe because of how all the calendars worked out, it's like, oh yeah, we've got this case and

it is going to trial. Yeah, this was sort of the stealth case.

Exactly exactly right. Well these other ones were taking up a lot of our time and

attention. I have to say I don't mind that this one goes first.
