This was a topic idea thrown out by Ronnie off the air last week and what we've decided to do in true media fashion is take a look back at the

emergent church now guys I don't know if you know this or not but a number of

years ago I wrote a book called Why We're Not Emergent by two guys who should be.

And I wrote it with a guy who sadly just really didn't go on to do a whole lot.

I mean, unlike me, I have this podcast which is you know just

a rocket ship toward fame and and stardom and really all of my dreams coming true

and you know the other guy. Who was who was that kid that wrote that book?

His name was Kevin DeYoung.

You know, I think I've heard of him.

I think if you Google him, you could probably find just like one or two things out there

maybe by him or about him that he's done.
