Hi, this is Jennifer Matterese.

And before I start recording the podcast, I'd just like to say a couple of things.

The first thing that I did want to mention is in regards to our Hillsborough disaster episode,

which was episode number two.

Today, news came out of Great Britain that a jury in the most recent inquest for the Hillsborough disaster found that the 96 fans

who died as a result of the disaster were unlawfully killed, that was the phrase, unlawfully

killed due to gross negligence from the police departments, that they died through

no fault of their own.

This was something that the families and the supporters had been fighting for for a long

time.

You know, I'm, I've said before, and I'll say it again, I am not a big fan of conspiracies.

I like solid evidence. I like a solid evidence trail. And this is one of the most solid evidence trails of conspiracy you're ever going to find. And so the fact that they were able to look at the evidence before them and see that so much of it was wrong and that there was

so much evidence of a cover-up and bias in both the media and the police departments

and the government and all of these different places and go from there is a really good thing.

And I saw that there was a video of family members of the 96 standing outside of the courthouse

and singing, you'll never walk alone.

I didn't get a chance to read it because I was too busy finishing the research for this

particular episode.

But I'm very happy for the victims and families of the Hillsborough

disaster.

And I really do hope that this does progress further and that there is some sort of punishment

that goes along.
