I'm your host, Lindsay, bringing you another episode in the Year of Polygamy, where we try to understand and untangle the practice of Mormon plural marriage and try to understand how it relates to our life today.

This series is meant to sort of go in order in a chronological order. The New York Times compared

this podcast to the serial podcast, which was very flattering. So right now in the era that we're in,

in the podcast, we're going to be talking about the 1886 revelation and sort of how the church

divides and breaks up into fundamentalist groups and non-fundamentalist groups. And I'm really excited to bring someone who has a little bit of knowledge in that area.
