This week's podcast is with plant pathologist Chris Hayes.

Chris began his journey into biologicals while working on his

Ph.D., then continued in the field while a scientist at Cornell University. At Cornell, he worked

on the strains of trichoderma, T-22, and G-41, that would ultimately become the active ingredients

in Root Shield Plus. He left Cornell approximately 25 years ago to help start Bioworks.

For the past quarter century, he has worked at various areas within Bioworks with the

ultimate goal of helping those interested in using Biologicals to understand the do's and

don'ts to maximize the effectiveness of biologicals and programs to help prevent plant sickness

and loss. Now on to the podcast.

kind of who you are and go from there?

Hello, everyone out there.

My name is Dr. Chris Hayes, and I hail from the farmlands of Central Illinois

and always had an interest growing up looking at alternatives to using synthetic

chemistries to try to grow healthy plants.
